Zoning ordinances promote compatible land uses to adjoining properties within defined areas. The City's Zoning Ordinance regulates use by zoning districts.

Re-zoning Request
Applications for Re-zoning Property (PDF) must be returned to the City Secretary. The Planning and Zoning Commission will schedule a public hearing on the requested re-zoning and make a recommendation to the City Council. The City Council also will schedule a public hearing and make a decision on whether or not to grant the re-zoning.
