Fire and Rescue

Fire and rescue response is provided through the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department. Remember: Please call 9-1-1 only for emergencies, such as a fire or need for rescue services.

Non-Emergency Call Number

Please contact the Rockdale Police Department at 512-446-3436 to report a controlled burn outside of the Rockdale City Limits or to request a fire report.

Smoke Detectors

Smoke detectors greatly improve your odds of surviving a fire in your home. Batteries in smoke alarms should be changed twice a year. The easiest way to remember this is to change the batteries when you change your clocks forward and backward to account for daylight saving time.
