Improvement Projects & Grants

The City of Rockdale is working on several improvement projects which will benefit citizens, businesses and tourists.  These projects vary in size and priority, addressing issues ranging from qualify of life, general safety and basic necessities.  Road and infrastructure improvements are also a vital component to attracting and retaining businesses to Rockdale.

Grants Image

Funding for projects is always a concern both for city leadership and for our tax paying citizens.
To be as fiscally responsible as possible, the City of Rockdale has been actively working to obtain grants.  The grant process can take years from application to project completion, and often dictate the timetable for project completion.  Some grants will fully-fund a project, some require a partial funding by the recipient, and some are matching grants.
