Milam County will submit a CDBG-DR application for $510,000 for drainage and street improvements in various locations throughout Milam County related to Hurricane Harvey declared disaster events to the General Land Office (GLO).
Beginning Mon, July 15, for approx 2 weeks, the intersection of Belton Ave and Rice St will be closed to thru traffic for road replacement as part of the Rice Street Water line replacement. NO THRU TRAFFIC signs will be placed. Thank you for detouring.
Beginning July 1 for approximately 2 weeks, the intersection of Yokley Rd and Rockdale Rd will be closed to thru traffic for repair/replace road and fix drainage. NO THRU TRAFFIC signs will be placed at appropriate areas that lead to affected area.

Milam County residents can use the attached form to upgrade their PHI Air Medical emergency transport membership to national household benefit coverage. This option provides extended benefits beyond Milam County to other PHI Cares coverage areas.

With the implementation of the new rate structure designating the 3/4" meter as standard, some customers have requested to downsize meters. The City has created a form for citizens to make the official written request. See attached link for copy of form.
City Council approved the application to the Texas Water Development Board for $45M to address water infrastructure and quality. This multi-year process will eliminate both the red water color & particulates as well as address the failing infrastructure.
