1. How do I learn about what will be discussed at City Council meetings?

The regular City Council meeting is held on the second Monday of each month. Special City Council meetings may be held as the need arises. All City Council agendas are posted at least 72 hours prior to the meeting on the front window and back door of City Hall and also on this website: Meeting Information / Agendas

2. How do I apply for a position on an advisory board, committee or commission?

Application forms are available at City Hall from the city secretary during normal business hours, except on holidays. Information about the various advisory boards as well as an online application can be found on the following webpage: Boards, Committees and Commissions

3. How do I request information from the city?

Information from the city may be obtained by filing a written request with the city secretary during normal business hours. Under the Texas Public Information Act, the city is required to provide the information as quickly as possible. If the information cannot be provided within 10 working days, the city must notify the applicant of the additional time required to complete the request. 4. How do I request to have a parade?

The online form under "E-Services>Online Forms" must be sent at least 14 days prior to the proposed date to the city manager The City Manager, Police Chief, Fire Chief and Public Works Director will review the request and make a determination.

5. When is the water bill due?

On or before the 20th of each month

6. Can I drill a water, oil or gas well in the city limits?

No. City ordinances strictly prohibit the drilling of any wells for water or minerals within the city limits.
